Jordan Spizike Red/Black

Jordan Spizike Red/Black

Jordan Spizike Red/Black

In the past year or so, we’ve seen Knicks Spizikes, Bordeaux Spizikes, and even the Son of Mars model hit stores nationwide, but none of those are as fiery as this upcoming Spike Lee release. This holiday season, Jordan Brand will hit us with a Raging Bull-like Red/Black Spizike. If you are looking forward to this release, you can go to Marqueesole to see more views of it and keep up with Sole Camp for more information on it.

Now Releasing: Jordan Spizike “Bordeaux”

Jordan Spizike "Bordeaux"

Jordan Spizike "Bordeaux"

It’s Spike time! Spike Lee, of course, with the only Spizike drop of 2012 on the horizon. While the colorful “Bordeaux” Spizike has not had the massive positive reception that other recent Jordan Brand drops have had, it certainly got a boost of popularity when Spike Lee delivered a pair with a special engraved-wood box to President Barack Obama. Whether you want to stunt like the president, or you just like the colorway on this Jordan Spizike, it’s probably good to know that the sneaker will be released to Jordan Brand retailers, like Extra Butter, tomorrow.

Air Jordan Release Date Update – February 2012 to May 2012

I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s our now-frequent hiatuses. Maybe it’s that I choose not to give you all basically pointless “New Pictures” posts. No matter what the cause is, Jordan Brand release dates always seem to get lost in the mix. Today, I’m going to update you all on some Air Jordan release dates through May 2012. Shouts to Modern-Notoriety and NiceKicks for the pictures.

Jordan Spizike “Bordeaux”

February will be a busy month for Jordan Brand. In addition to other event-themed sneakers that we have yet to see (All-Star Game? Black History Month?), the brand will release three shoes to the general public in a span of fifteen days. First up will be this grey “Bordeaux”-like Jordan Spizike with multicolor accents all around. Pop into your local Jordan Brand retailer on Saturday, February 4 if you want to get this sneaker.

Air Jordan X Retro “Old Royal”

Air Jordan X Retro "Old Royal"

Dylan actually showed you the Spizike and the “Old Royal” Air Jordan X Retro together. What a coincidence, considering that the white and blue follow-up to the “Chicago” X Retro will be released just a week after the Spizike, on Saturday, February 11.

Air Jordan IV Retro “White Cement”

Air Jordan IV Retro "White Cement"

Air Jordan IV Retro "White Cement"

Oh boy. Anyone not looking forward to the return of the “White Cement” Air Jordan IV, good for you. As for the rest of us, be prepared for the worst. The “White Cement” Air Jordan III did not sell out immediately when it released early last year, but things are looking much different for this “White Cement” sneaker. With the attention of the entire world more on Retro Jordans now than ever (thanks to a certain December 2011 release), people will surely be coming out en masse for the ever-as-beautiful “White Cement” IV Retro when it drops on Saturday, February 18.

Air Jordan IV Retro “White Cement” Special Packaging

Intriguing packaging always helps drive excitement up on releases. The special box that Jordan Brand made for the Air Jordan III last year gave the shoes a little more collector appeal. For the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan IV, Jordan Brand will bless each of this year’s Air Jordan IV Retros with a cement print-inspired box that also has the classic “Flight” script on the lid. Another thing to note on this box is the new, simplified Jordan Brand sticker. Look for these boxes to fly off shelves when the “White Cement” Air Jordan IV releases on the 18th.

Air Jordan X Retro “Stealth”

Barring any quickstrike releases, this “Stealth” makeup of the Air Jordan X will finish off 2012′s line of X Retros. Check for it at your local Jordan Brand retailer on Saturday, March 24.

Air Jordan XII Retro “Playoff”

Playoff? Playoffs? Who cares!? All we have to know is that the infamous white and black Air Jordan XII that Jordan wore en route to his fifth championship will be released to the public for only the third time. As simple as the shoe is, excitement around the Saturday, April 21 release date should be at a pretty big high. Be ready.

Patent lows. That is all that needs to be said for craziness to ensue. This white Air Jordan XI Retro Low, laden with black lining and a crisp translucent red outsole, will hit store shelves on Saturday, May 5.

Air Jordan XII Retro “Cool Grey”

Closing out the month of May will be the release of this all-new “Cool Grey” XII colorway. Equipped with hits of white and orange, this Air Jordan XII Retro has enough pop to get some sales when it drops on Saturday, May 19.

While February 2012 already holds the long-awaited re-retro of the “White Cement” Air Jordan IV, it will also bring us two brand new Jordan colorways. The “Old Royal” Air Jordan X gets its name from its bright Royal outsole, eyestay, laces, and tongue, and looks like a winner for Spring 2012. The “Bordeaux” Spizike’s name is derived from its similar accent color combination to the “Bordeaux” Air Jordan 7, and is a clean, yet flashy pick for any time of year. You can check out pictures of both of these upcoming Jordan releases on Air-Randy, and stay tuned to Sole Camp for more information on them.

Now Releasing: Jordan Spizike “New York Knicks” Pack

Jordan Spizike "New York Knicks" Pack

Jordan Spizike "New York Knicks" Pack

Five seconds left in the game. The Miami Heat and New York Knicks are tied at 105. Carmelo Anthony is trying to get open for a shot. Four. Three. Two. One. Melo gets up a shot twenty feet from the basket. The crowd at Madison Square Garden grows tense. Spike Lee, sitting front row as always, is wearing both “New York Knicks” Spizikes: one on the left foot, one on the right. He jumps out of his seat as Melo takes his shot. Silence…silence…silence…and the shot goes in! The Garden goes wild after the Knicks overtake Miami and its Big Three. Spike Lee jumps for joy as he rushes over to congratulate the Knicks squad…

I can dream, can’t I? Tomorrow, the “New York Knicks” duo of Jordan Spizikes will be released. And while the shoes might not hold as much sentimental value with the ongoing NBA lockout, they should still be must-haves for any diehard fan of both Jordan Brand and the Knickerbockers. Both the Blue Ribbon-based and Orange Flash-based Spizikes will make their way to select Jordan Brand retailers, like Extra Butter, along with blue and orange Spizike-themed apparel. In addition, Footaction on 34th St will be hosting a Spike Lee signing tomorrow from 10 AM to 11 AM to commemorate the release of the “New York Knicks” Spizike pack. If you’re around, try to make it to the signing, but be sure to go early to ensure your pair of Spizikes!

Blue and orange. These are the two colors that pump through the veins of passionate New York Knicks fans. They are also the base colors of two upcoming Jordan Spizike colorways. With Spike Lee being a big fan of the Knicks over the years, it is only right that his Jordan Brand shoe releases in Knicks colors. You can pick up both of the “New York Knicks” Jordan Spizikes on Saturday, November 5th. (Pictures via Jordan Brand)

Jordan Spizike “New York Knicks Orange”

Jordan Spizike "New York Knicks Home"

Jordan Spizike "New York Knicks Orange"

A few days ago, I showed you all a Knicks-inspired Spizike colorway that Spike Lee revealed around the 2011 NBA Playoffs. Well, it looks like that will not be the only one to release. The “New York Knicks Orange” Spizike, as seen above, has also made its way into early online retailers’ hands! Unlike its brother colorway with blue suede, this Spizike is mainly comprised of a bright orange leather with minor black, white, and blue accents. A translucent blue sole finishes off this dazzling colorway made for the bright scene that is Madison Square Garden. Look out for release information on the “New York Knicks Orange” Spizike, as it is bound to come sooner than later. (Picture via Air-Randy)

Previously Unannounced Jordan Brand Products – Air Jordan III Retro “Black Flip” & Jordan Spizike “New York Knicks”

Air Jordan III Retro "Black Flip"

Jordan Spizike "New York Knicks"

The above shoes are different in many ways, but similar in one. Both surfaced onto the normal early release web stores with no prior indication of release. The “Black Flip” Air Jordan III Retro is not particularly refreshing, as it is simply a black and white shoe. Nonetheless, it probably fulfills the fantasies of fans of the “Flip” Air Jordan III Retro who longed for a black version. Knicks fans everywhere were stunned when Spike Lee posted pictures of two New York Knicks-inspired Spizikes earlier this year. Now, it looks like the blue “New York Knicks” Spizike will become a reality for Jordan heads and Knicks followers everywhere. Stay tuned for further release information on both of these shoes. Air Jordan XI Retro Low IE White/Black-Metallic Silver

Tomorrow, August 13th, two shoes that have previously slipped under Sole Camp’s radar will arrive at Jordan Brand retailers. The first one is an Air Jordan 2.0 that takes some inspiration from the Air Jordan III with a cement-colored elephant print panel. The second of the duo is a “Concord”-like XI Low IE. Like I said before, you can pick both of these up (for $160 and $120, respectively) at your local Jordan Brand retailer tomorrow. (Pictures via Jumpman23)
