Upcoming Releases: March 2010

Hey! Sorry again for the site being down/post delay. There was nothing I could do to stop it. Anyways, I’m back, with more of an informative post. March is looking to be one of the big months this year for sneaker releases. Several awaited-for sneakers revealed months ago are coming out in March. Today, I want to inform you all about these releases.

Air Jordan 6 Retro – “Oreo”

This March, Jordan Brand is continuing with the pattern of an Air Jordan 6 Retro per month, with this white and black model, dubbed the “Oreo” 6. This shoe has an upper composed of black durabuck and fresh, clean-looking white leather. In addition, on some black parts of the shoe, like the lacelock and the back-handle, there are white speckles, reminiscent to the speckle pattern on the “Cement” Air Jordan 4. The midsole is of a white-speckled black and white color, and the outsole, like any other Air Jordan 6, is clear. Look for these to hit Jordan Brand retailers sometime next month for $150.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium – “Chirping Bird”/”Larry Perkins”

Regardless of what you want to call this shoe, it’s quite nice, if I have to say so myself. This SB Dunk Low Premium has an all-black upper, mainly made of denim, but also including a patent leather swoosh. A white midsole and red outsole compliment the “Nike SB” tag on the tongue, and finish off this simple, yet awesome shoe. Oh, and we can’t forget the fur lining by the heel, and the ringing tongue! These should be available at your local Nike SB retailer, as a QS release, in early/mid-March.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII – “Dunkman”

Normally, basketball sneakers aren’t acclaimed for their potential as casual shoes. The Air Max LeBron VII defys that statement in every way possible. With its flywire upper, extreme comfort, and great colorways (like the All-Star Game turquoise colorway), the Air Max LeBron VII is made for any situation. This “Dunkman” colorway is possibly the best colorway yet. The upper is black, with neon green accents, like the neon green swoosh border and the neon green LeBron logo. The sole, including the Air Max unit, is all done in the same neon green color, making for quite the stunning shoe. For even more shine, the laces are partly made of 3M material Lastly, to finish off the shoe, the Dunkman logo can be found on the bottom of the sole, in black. Rumor has it that this model has already hit NikeTown in Los Angeles. Furthermore, it is also out already in Europe, so expect these to hit select Nike retailers sooner than later in March.

Nike Air Foamposite One – “Eggplant”

Wait…WHAAAAT?!? Yes. You’re probably very skeptical if you haven’t heard about this yet, since the Copper Foamposite just released and this exact shoe released last year. Well, start believing. As weird as it sounds, the Eggplant Foamposite is making a comeback in March 2010. If the release of the Copper Foamposite wasn’t crazy enough, now you have these. Just incase you’re not familiar with this shoe from last year’s release, it has a black upper, complimented with a purple swoosh and purple Foamposite material. It features the famous Penny Hardway logo on the tongue, in the same purple color as the Foamposite material. In addition to the sleek, purple Foamposite material, the clear outsole makes for an amazing shoe. If you slept on this shoe last year, or slept on the Copper Foamposite this past weekend, this is Nike giving you another chance. Expect the “Eggplant” Foamposite to hit select Nike accounts in mid-March for a retail of $200.

Well, those are four releases to look forward to in March. Remember though, that there are still another 11 days in February. And even with the release of many sneakers last weekend, there are still some cool sneakers coming out in February! So keep up-to-date on Sole Camp for the upcoming releases!
