Bape x UNDFTD x adidas Originals ZX5000

Bape x UNDFTD x adidas Originals ZX5000

Bape x UNDFTD x adidas Originals ZX5000

Before I really got into sneakers as a hobby, the only shoes I got were for everyday wear, and I would always get the same basic shoes for a good three years as my foot kept growing out of pairs. However, in early 2009, I decided to pick out something different instead. I went on Zappos, looked around for a bit, and found one sneaker that I really liked: an adidas Originals ZXZ123 with a blue, light blue, volt yellow, and grey color combo. Ever since I beat those to the ground, I’ve had an appreciation for classic adidas running models, especially ones that go a bit out of the norm.

When I first got wind of the Bape x UNDFTD collection that dropped over the summer, I also heard that the two brands were collaborating with adidas on a couple of sneakers. Now, I don’t know if the amount shall hold true, but I do know that the one sneaker revealed from the three-brand collaboration is pretty awesome. I might say this a lot, but I really do feel that Bape, UNDFTD, and adidas really got a whole lot onto this one ZX5000. Of course, there’s the Bathing Ape Camo, which plays a prevalent part on the shoe. However, because of its suede application and the way that it is placed, the camouflage pattern does not take ultimate precedence over anything else. Major areas of olive and tan tone the sneaker down even more. Gum soles are almost always a plus, and the “almost always” prevails here. Now, the three companies could have easily ended there and had a smash hit of a shoe, but they went further and colored up the three stripes in red, white, and blue. It’s odd…I am sure many people would be inclined to think that the three stripes represent something American. For me, these stripes add on a bit of a European flavor to the sneaker. When viewed from the back of the sneaker, they form a French flag. In general, I think the very bold hits of red, white, and blue add some needed distinction to the otherwise-camouflage sneaker.

There are not many sneakers releasing this year that I will look to buy. Up until now, my only plans for sneaker purchases before the end of 2012 were to buy two pairs of “Bred” Air Jordan IV Retros when they drop on Black Friday. Now, it is safe to say that I’ll also be looking out for the release date of the Bape x UNDFTD x adidas Originals ZX5000. (Picture via Sneaker Freaker)

Event Reminder: Sneaker Con NYC and Pre-Event at adidas Originals Soho

Sneaker Con NYC

Sneaker Con NYC

After a half-year absence, Sneaker Con arrives back in its original destination, New York City, for another go-round! Sneaker Con, “the premiere event for sneaker connoisseurs to buy, sell, and trade some of the most sought after footwear on the market,” will feature 100 vendors and host thousands of attendees tomorrow at its new venue, Baruch College, from 12-7 PM. Even though this venue is bigger (10,000 square feet) than the last one, I suggest you plan on getting there early. Whether you are looking for a specific pair or just trying to get some good deals, come out to Sneaker Con tomorrow! Jake and I will be in the building filming for Sole Camp and just chilling around, so if you see us, make sure to say hello as well!

In addition, the Sneaker Con staff is hosting a Pre-Event tonight from 7-10 PM at the adidas Originals store on Wooster St in Soho. DJ Clark Kent, of both music and sneaker fame, will be on the boards playing the latest hits and hip-hop classics. And if you happen to buy something at adidas Originals today, you can get into Sneaker Con for free tomorrow! If that thing is $50 or more, you will also receive the official adidas Originals Sneaker Con t-shirt. Jake can’t make it out tonight, but I think I will be there, so if you have no plans for the night, come out to that too!

Below are the addresses and other details for both Sneaker Con tomorrow and the Pre-Event tonight. See you there! (more…)

Post-Hiatus Update – 6/11/12

Before Dylan and I left for our three-week trip to Israel, I sent out a preview of things to come in the time while we were away. Alas, I had no idea of exactly how crazy of a period this past three weeks was going to be. The answer: very, very crazy. Check out a few of the headlines I missed in my preview below.

Nike LeBron 9 “MVP”

Nike LeBron 9 "MVP"

Nike LeBron 9 "MVP"

After the first half of this year’s NBA season, there was no question that LeBron James was putting up historic numbers for his Miami Heat squad. The second half of the season showed a little dip in his production, but nonetheless, in mid-May, LeBron was named Most Valuable Player of the 2011-2012 season. To celebrate the occasion, Nike created an “MVP” version of the LeBron 9. The sneaker has an upper covered in white, but also taken up by a red-and-black fade pattern. Yellow accents appear on the logos and outsole. More pizzaz comes through with red and yellow speckles on a white midsole. Last, but certainly not least, LeBron’s signature on the back of the LeBron 9 is replaced with a yellow “MVP” badge. No word yet on a release date, but keep your Eastern Conference Finals Game 6 demon eyes peeled. (Picture via Nike Inc.)

Nike Zoom Kobe VII “What the Kobe”

Nike Zoom Kobe VII "What the Kobe"

Nike Zoom Kobe VII "What the Kobe"

Nike SB dropped the “What the Dunk” Dunk Low in October 2007. Since then, there have been custom “What the Dunk” Dunk Highs and even a “What the Jordan” Air Jordan 1, but I am pretty sure Nike was the first to come up with a “What the Kobe” concept. The result? Look right above. Can’t miss it. This obscene version of the Zoom Kobe VII takes radiant colors and animal prints found on previous Kobe colorways and meshes them all together into one pair of sneakers. Wild, right? No release date is known on this super-eccentric Kobe VII, but stay tuned for one hopefully in the near future. (Picture via Sneaker Freaker)

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2012 Preview

adidas Originals JS Bear for Fall/Winter 2012

adidas Originals JS Bear for Fall/Winter 2012

Soon enough, six months will have passed since the first drop from Jeremy Scott’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and you know what that means: more zany-to-infinity Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals sneakers to feast your eyes on. Sneaker Freaker has a preview of the first set of clothing and sneakers being released, which includes the psychedelic JS Bear pictured above. The first set of three sneakers, along with the matching clothing, is set to drop on or around Sunday, August 12.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Gym Green”

Nike Air Foamposite Pro "Gym Green"

Foamposite mania hits again. The “Gym Green” Foamposite Pro above is dressed in an iridescent green that is lighter, but still similar to the “Dark Pine” Foamposite Pro’s upper from last year. Gym Green accents can be found on the lateral swoosh and outsole swoosh. A translucent outsole makes sure that this Foamposite is a winner for the Olympic season. Pick up your pair on Saturday, June 30. (Picture via Private Stock)

Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 Release Date Change

Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 "Steel Blue"

Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 "Steel Blue"

For the most part, these past three weeks have been quiet for news on upcoming Ronnie Fieg sneaker releases. No previews of future Asics collaborations have surfaced, but one tidbit of information on his latest New Balance project came out. The release of the “Steel Blue” New Balance 999, initially slated for Fieg’s birthday of June 15, has been moved to an undisclosed date. The information should not be too far away, but perhaps you will have to wait a little longer than you thought. For now, enjoy a gallery of pictures of the “Steel Blue” 999 courtesy of Sneaker News.

Nike Sportswear “Safari” Pack

Nike Sportswear "Safari" Pack – Air Safari & Air Trainer 1

Nike Sportswear "Safari" Pack – Air Safari & Air Trainer 1

Twenty-five years ago, Nike went a little over the aesthetic edge with the Nike Air Safari – a sneaker built like a classic Nike runner, but with a loud pop thanks to the Safari print. Now, Nike will pay tribute to the Air Safari with a two-sneaker pack. First, the Air Safari will re-release in its original form. In addition, the Air Trainer 1 will get dressed up in the original Air Safari colorway for the occasion. Look for both to drop at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Saturday, June 30. Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme “Galaxy” Blake Griffin PE Release Date

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme "Galaxy" Blake Griffin PE

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme "Galaxy" Blake Griffin PE

Ever since the NBA 2012 All-Star Game, many people have been curious about the release status of this player exclusive Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme. Fortunately for those people, this “Galaxy” Blake Griffin PE Hyperdunk finally has a release date. Look for the sneaker to drop in limited amounts at select Nike Basketball retailers on Saturday, June 23. For now, if you have the dough, you can go to eBay to get yourself a pair now.

Released: Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski “Vino Rosso”

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski "Vino Rosso"

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski "Vino Rosso"

Over the three weeks of our hiatus, there were a few notable drops, including this blast-from-the-past Nike SB quickstrike. For months on end, the “Vino Rosso” Janoski seemed like one of those shoes that had pairs floating around, but would never see a wide-scale release. That is, until this past Saturday, June 9. The “Vino Rosso” Janoski dropped at Nike SB locations across the nation as a regular quickstrike. If you put in effort, you should still be able to find a pair for retail or just a little above. Released: Air Jordan 1 Retro KO Hi “Bred” & “Black Toe”

Air Jordan 1 Retro KO Hi "Bred" & "Black Toe"

Air Jordan 1 Retro KO Hi "Bred" & "Black Toe"

Talk about a blast from the past! Two Saturdays ago, June 2, marked the completely unexpected return of a gem for Jordan connoisseurs – the “Bred” Air Jordan 1 KO. This colorway of the Air Jordan 1 KO hasn’t seen store shelves since…well, the original drop! Along with the “Bred” colorup, Jordan Brand also dropped a reiteration of the classic “Black Toe” Jordan 1, but in KO form. The “Bred” version is pretty much gone, but you should still be able to find the “Black Toe” KOs around. (Picture via Extra Butter)

Released: Nike Air Yeezy 2 Black/Solar Red & Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum

Didn’t I tell you this might be coming? Well, I hoped it wouldn’t, just so I could be in the States to witness what could have been the craziest sneaker drop ever. Turns out the release was a day before I got back – Saturday, June 9. And yes, it was one of the most insane drops the sneakerhead community has ever seen. For one, there was a regional split for each colorway; stores in the West received the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum version, stores in the East received the Black/Solar Red version, and select shops in Chicago and New York City received both. After February’s “Galaxy” Foamposite release hoopla, most stores learned their lesson, and held huge raffles instead of allowing lines to form. This was the first time raffles became so commonplace among sneaker shops. Thousands upon thousands of people across the nation put their names down for a chance at Yeezy 2s, with only a small percentage actually getting a chance to purchase pairs. Even the few House of Hoops locations that received Yeezy 2s held online raffles. Nike-owned stores stuck to the RSVP method, which, while efficient, upset a lot of people who believed that they responded quick enough to their respective store’s tweet. NikeStore even opted to release the sneaker online at a random date and time. And worst of all, while the sneaker retailed for $245, it is being sold on eBay at prices in the $2000 to $4000 range. If you won a raffle and were able to pick up a pair, congratulations. Otherwise, you might want to wait for the market price of the sneaker in either colorway to drop. (Picture via Nike Inc.)

Sneaker Con NYC June 2012

Did you miss out on any of the sneakers that dropped in the past three weeks, and don’t feel like buying them online? In a matter of weeks, you’ll have a great opportunity to see all sorts of sneakers in person at New York City’s first Sneaker Con in 2012. This time around, the event looks to be bigger than ever, thanks to the new 10,000 square-foot venue, Baruch College. Nearly 100 vendors will be at the event, catering to an expected thousands of event-goers. If there are any sneakers that you are looking to buy, sell, or trade, Sneaker Con is the place to be when it all goes down on Saturday, June 30 in New York City.

Now Releasing: Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2012 Collection Part 2

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer Collection Part 2

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer Collection Part 2

Jeremy Scott made some headlines last month with his adidas Originals releases, Complex interview, and appearance at the adidas Originals store in SoHo. Now, his stuff will be back on store shelves, as the second part of his Spring/Summer 2012 collection with adidas is set to drop. There are two JS Instinct His: one in a White/Black colorway and another in a Yellow/Black colorway. This model has a tall, wide tongue which, when paired up, spells out “adidas.” The other sneaker in the collection is on the completely opposite side of the crazy spectrum. The JS Gorilla, donned out in black fur and a white Adidas t-shirt would get attention from any angle. Why’s that? Take a good look at the tongue and you should be good on an answer. All three of these Jeremy Scott-designed adidas Originals sneakers drop tomorrow, March 3, at select adidas Originals retailers, like Kith.

Video Review: adidas Originals JS Wings “Camo” & “Denim”

I have always been a passive fan of Jeremy Scott’s stuff with adidas Originals. His designs go out there like no one else’s can. Recently, I read his interview in Complex, and that put my respect for him at a much higher level. The way that he perceives designing and actually executes his designing is like nobody else’s way right now. In my ventures, I decided to finally pick up some Jeremy Scott gear. Check out my two adidas Originals JS Wings pickups, the “Camo” and “Denim” colorways, in the video.

Meet Jeremy Scott at the adidas Originals Store on Saturday, February 11

Yesterday, I took a trip to adidas Originals at 136 Wooster Street to see some footwear and apparel from the Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2012 line. There were some pretty radical pieces of clothing there, and of course, some out-of-this-world shoes. But little did I know that the real gem of the store would be on a piece of paper. Right upon entering the store, I looked down and picked up the card on a nearby table. You should be able to figure out the rest. The punch line: Jeremy Scott will be making a special appearance at the adidas Originals store on Wooster Street for a meet-and-greet this Saturday, February 11. Check here for the details.

The first set of sneakers from the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2012 collection just released, but we already have a preview of Scott’s unconventional shoe designs that are coming out later this year. The famed designer continues to push the envelope with this set, which includes shoes that have belt buckles, tiger print, tie-dye, neon fleece, and ankle braces. You will be able to get these crazy kicks on your feet in late Summer/early Fall, but in the meantime, check them all out below (Pictures via EUKicks & Numelo).

adidas Originals JS Leopard, JS Wings "Denim", and JS Wings 2.0 "American Flag"

adidas Originals JS Leopard, JS Wings "Denim", and JS Wings 2.0 "American Flag"

Way back when, we showed you guys what Jeremy Scott and Adidas had cooking up for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I also gave you all another look at the collection in my Sneaker Con December 2011 Recap video. Now, it’s release time. First up from this Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals collection are three sneakers that are bound to not last for long. There is the faux-hair JS Leopard, which, along with the leopard print on the upper, takes a bit more of a literal approach to the mammal with a tail on the back. The “American Flag” JS Wings 2.0, with its alternate red sneaker and blue sneaker, could surely help in concocting a crazy patriotic outfit. Finally, the JS Wings “Denim” brings a feel of luxury not seen in the other two sneakers, with its light denim upper and clear gum bottom. All of these shoes and a couple others are now available at select adidas Originals retailers, like Leaders.

EDIT: While the sneakers have already released at some places, most stores (including official adidas stores) will be releasing the shoes on Saturday, February 4th.

Dylan’s Top 10 Sneakers of 2011

Tonight, I am here to bring you all my Top 10 sneakers of the year. I have put a lot of thought into this list, so I hope you all like it!

10. Tie – Nike Dunk High “Mighty Crown”, Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Solar Red” & Nike Air Foamposite One “Royal”

Nike Dunk High "Mighty Crown", Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low "Solar Red" & Nike Air Foamposite One "Royal"

Nike Dunk High "Mighty Crown", Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low "Solar Red" & Nike Air Foamposite One "Royal"

I couldn’t decide on one shoe for this spot, as I thought that all of these deserved it. The “Mighty Crown” Dunk High is a subtle, yet nice shoe, because of its intricate design and high quality. The “Solar Red” LeBron 8 V2 Low is both more flashy and comfortable than the Dunk, but it’s also more one-dimensional. Also, the “Royal” Foamposite One is a classic colorway that looks stunning, even in its 2011 form, but I’ve started to like the Foamposite model less over this year. Consider these my runner-ups, and the Top 9 my real list (All pictures via Nice Kicks).

9. Nike SB Dunk High “Statue of Liberty”

Nike SB Dunk High "Statue of Liberty"

Nike SB Dunk High "Statue of Liberty"

At first, I thought that the “Statue of Liberty” SB Dunk High was cool, but not worth the effort or money. However, after a friend of mine got a pair and I saw him wear his pair a lot, I was sold. The shoe’s shades of green, mint, and off-white fit perfectly together. And its nod to one of NYC’s greatest monuments, the Statue of Liberty of course, is pretty cool too. While I think the quality of the leather used on the shoe could have been better, I can’t deny that the “Statue of Liberty” SB Dunk High is a winner.

8. Air Jordan I Retro “Banned”

Air Jordan I Retro "Banned"

Air Jordan I Retro "Banned"

While I passed on the “Banned” Air Jordan I when it came out because I already had a black and red shoe in the “DJ AM” Dunk High, I really regret that decision now. The “Banned” I is an absolutely classic sneaker. The combination of black and red is amazing to me, and that duo is executed beautifully on this shoe. In addition, the ode to when the “Bred” I was originally banned from the NBA in 1985, with the notes on the lining and box, is pretty special. I could easily buy a pair of “Bred” I’s from the DMP Pack, but that Nike Air on the tongue tab of the “Banned” I just looks right.

7. Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Barcelona Away”

Nike Zoom Kobe VI "Barcelona"

Nike Zoom Kobe VI "Barcelona"

I picked the “Barcelona Away” Kobe VI because of its flash. I’ve only seen the shoe once in real life, but when I did, my eyes were immediately drawn to and stuck on it. And while there were some other notable mango-like-colored sneakers in 2011, the “Barcelona Away” Kobe VI takes the cake for the best because of how perfectly the black used on the shoe’s midsole and lining contrasts the mango shade. Boy do I wish that this shoe released in the US…

6. Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Saga “Mazarine Blue”

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Saga "Mazarine Blue"

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Saga "Mazarine Blue"

Since I first saw the “Mazarine Blue” Gel Saga at the end in Adam Zenou’s Kith Opening Party video, I’ve been hooked. I love that shade of purplish-blue, kind of like daybreak, used on the shoe. Paired with a black midsole and blue accents, the all-mazarine upper on the “Mazarine Blue” Gel Saga makes the shoe looks ill-er than anything else I’ve seen this year.

5. Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Mint Leaf”

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III "Mint Leaf"

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III "Mint Leaf"

The “Mint Leaf” Gel Lyte III is truly stunning. Its mint mesh split-tongue and toe box shine radiantly when hit by light. The mint high-grade nubuck on the shoe also looks very clean. Not to mention that the Gel Lyte III silhouette is very comfortable and has become one of my favorites. I even like the story behind this beautiful colorway, that Ronnie Fieg based it off of mint leaves from his grandmother’s garden in Israel. When I first saw people wear the “Mint Leaf” Gel Lyte III at the release at David Z, I was not 100% sold. But, after I missed out there and thought about the shoe a little more, I knew that I could not totally miss out on it.

4. Concepts x New Balance 999 “Kennedy”

Concepts x New Balance 999 "Kennedy"

Concepts x New Balance 999 "Kennedy"

As I alluded to in the Sole Camp x Young Guns “Kennedy” post, I’ve never really been a fan of New Balances. That is, until I fell in love with the “Kennedy” 999. When the shoe released back in April, I totally slept on it. However, when I saw someone wearing them at the “Mint Leaf” release in July, I started to regret not paying to attention to them before. Frank the Butcher executed the theme of JFK’s love for sailing perfectly on the “Kennedy”, through ripstop nylon (used in yacht sails), sand-colored suede, very nautical lining, and white mesh on the toe (as a reference to the bags used to catch fish). Heck, the sneaker even came with a white mesh bag! The “Kennedy” also is up a notch in my mind because of the lush suedes used on it and how comfortable the 999 model itself is. I still can’t believe that I’m putting a New Balance shoe on the top half of my list, but boy, does the “Kennedy” 999 deserve it!

3. Air Jordan XI Retro “Concord”

Air Jordan XI Retro "Concord"

Air Jordan XI Retro "Concord"

I’ve been waiting for the “Concord” XI to re-release since I started learning about Jordans. The shoe’s combination of crisp white mesh and shiny black patent has always caught my attention. However, I could not convince myself to buy a previously-released pair, with a yellowed sole that I did not make yellow (from wear and time). So, I forced myself to wait. And now, after waiting 2+ years and going out early on the morning of 12/23/11, I finally have the “Concord” XI!

2. adidas Originals JS Bear

adidas Originals JS Bear

adidas Originals JS Bear

The JS Bear, especially in the tan colorway, is nothing short of awesome. I kind-of wanted the shoe after seeing some pictures of it online, but when I had the chance to see it in real life, I was sold. The teddy bear head and light fur upper on the JS Bear make the shoe look so cute and me feel like a kid again when I wear it. I also love how the head and arms shake when I walk in the shoe, as if my shoes were living creatures. Overall, Jeremy Scott’s animal-sneaker designs are amazing, but none of them stick out at me like the tan JS Bear does.

1. Nike MAG 2011

Nike MAG 2011

Nike MAG 2011

To be honest, I have never seen Back to the Future 2. Regardless, I think the Nike MAG 2011 is the best sneaker that was released in 2011. I have always been a fan of futuristic-looking models (the Yeezy is my favorite shoe ever), and the MAG takes that to a whole new level. The really high cut, teal-speckled panels, and lights all work really well together in my opinion. Like many of you (I’m sure), I wish I could’ve obtained a pair!

That’s all folks! I would love to know what you all have to say about my list. What did you not expect that ended up on my list, and vice versa?

December 2011 Release Date Round-Up

Along with the arrival of December came the “Cannon” LeBron 9, which released today. In addition, Jake already let you guys know about the “Black Flip” Air Jordan III that will be released tomorrow. However, here are all of the other notable sneaker release dates for this month:

Nike Zoom KD IV Lineup

Nike Zoom KD IV Lineup

Nike Zoom KD IV Lineup

This month, Nike Basketball will debut the KD IV, Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker, at retail. Tomorrow, December 3rd, both the “Thunder Away” and “Blackout” colorways of the KD IV will hit stores. Later in December, on the 17th, the special “Nerf” version of the KD IV will release at select spots. However, there is one more KD IV set to release soon…

Nike Basketball “Lockout” Pack

Nike Basketball "Lockout" Pack

Nike Basketball "Lockout" Pack

As any NBA fan should know by now, the lockout is over, and the 2011-2012 season is slated to begin this upcoming Christmas! However, during the lockout, several NBA players took on other jobs. Nike Basketball, inspired by this action, asked some of its signed athletes what job they would pursuit if they were not professional basketball players. This “Lockout” Pack is the result. The “Weatherman” KD IV, which draws its inspiration from Kevin Durant’s childhood dream of becoming a meteorologist, features the bright Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red shades of your local news’ weather radar. The “Stockbroker” Hyperfuse 2011, which was created by Andre Iguodala’s desire to become a stockbroker, features a luminous Green upper and a tongue symbol that’s font invokes the power of Wall Street. Finally, the “Blake Show” Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme certainly matches Blake Griffin’s humorous personality, as well as his movie star potential. You can purchase all three shoes in the “Lockout” Pack on December 10th at select Nike Basketball retailers.

Other Basketball-Related Releases

Other Basketball-Related Releases

December does not only belong to Kevin Durant sneaker-wise. On December 22nd, the first colorway of the Kobe VII (in its Supreme form), Black/White-Del Sol, will hit Nike Basketball retailers. In addition, Jordan Brand has the rest of December on lock, with the debut of the Fly Wade 2 on December 7th, a re-release of the epic “Last Shot” XIV on December 17th, and the highly-anticipated launch of the 2011 “Concord” XI on December 23rd.

Collaborative Releases

Collaborative Releases

Collaborative Releases

As 2011 comes to a close, several stores (and designers) are going out with a bang. Boylston Trading Co., a “premium menswear” boutique in Boston, MA, will unleash the “Hustler’s Crest” adidas Originals Forum Hi Pack, which features three luxurious montone adidas Forum’s (in Black, Lead, and Cardinal) that are all highlighted by a golden crest. The set, designed by BTC’s frontman, Frank the Butcher, goes on sale tomorrow, December 3rd, but is currently available for pre-order online. Nice Kicks is also getting in on the December fun with the release its first New Balance collaboration, the Grey/Red Nice Kicks x New Balance 1500, on December 16th. In addition, Long Island boutique Extra Butter’s first collaborative sneaker, the “AHCHOO” Reebok Pump AXT (which was recently revealed in full), will end off this big year with a release on New Year’s Eve, December 31st. Lastly, while Ronnie Fieg’s next Asics release for his store, Kith, has not officially been revealed yet, he has hinted on Twitter that his “Mazarine Blue” Gel Saga will release soon (through a picture of the official box for the sneakers), and that December 22nd will be a date for people to “mark..down.” Nothing is set in stone though.

Special thanks to Vagrant Sneaker for the picture of the “Mazarine Blue” Gel Saga and Sole Movement for various pictures throughout the post!
