We’re in the home stretch of the wait until 2012 USA Olympic basketball. For the next month, Nike and Jordan Brand will be bringing out some classic Olympic footwear. Two of the more awaited sneakers, rereleases of Charles Barkley’s Air Force 180 and Ray Allen’s Air Jordan VI, can be seen in the video above.
Nike Air More Uptempo "Olympic" & Air Force 180 "Olympic"
This summer, Nike has decided to go all-out with Olympic sneakers. I have already told you about the “Olympic” Air Jordan VI and VII Retros (Releasing July 7 and July 21, respectively), but Jordan Brand isn’t the only Nike division getting in on the fun. Along with a series of Dunks and Air Force 1s, Nike Sportswear is releasing four retro basketball sneakers that were all worn by olympic athletes. At a later date, you’ll be able to get Kobe Bryant’s “Olympic” Zoom Huarache 2k4 and Vince Carter’s “Olympic” Shox BB4, but for now, head on over to your local Nike Sportswear retailer, like Extra Butter, today to get Scottie Pippen’s “Olympic” Air More Uptempo and Charles Barkley’s “Olympic” Air Force 180, and if that doesn’t work out, then stay tuned to the usual sites for an online release.
