Ewing Athletics 33 Hi Retro

Ewing Athletics 33 Hi Retro

Ewing Athletics 33 Hi Retro

In the early ’90s, NBA players trembled at the thought of having to face the New York Knicks, because they knew they would be up against the dominant force of Patrick Ewing, the starting center of the Knicks, who would crush them in his 33 Hi sneaker. Fast forward to February of this year, and Jake informed you that Ewing Athletics would be making a return in the summer. Now, the 33 Hi Retro is set to debut in August. The shoe will initially release in White/Blue-Orange and Red/Black-White colorways, but will soon after also hit stores in Blue/White-Orange and Black/White. Each 33 Hi will be $100 and the shoe will run in sizes 8-15 initially, with other sizes coming at a later point. You can check out images of each colorway below and stick to Sole Camp for more information of the initial August release. (more…)

According to this Twitter page, the Ewing brand of sneakers will make a return in the summer of 2012. As if Knicks fans did not have enough to cheer about already. Now Releasing: Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2012 Collection Part 1

adidas Originals JS Leopard, JS Wings "Denim", and JS Wings 2.0 "American Flag"

adidas Originals JS Leopard, JS Wings "Denim", and JS Wings 2.0 "American Flag"

Way back when, we showed you guys what Jeremy Scott and Adidas had cooking up for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I also gave you all another look at the collection in my Sneaker Con December 2011 Recap video. Now, it’s release time. First up from this Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals collection are three sneakers that are bound to not last for long. There is the faux-hair JS Leopard, which, along with the leopard print on the upper, takes a bit more of a literal approach to the mammal with a tail on the back. The “American Flag” JS Wings 2.0, with its alternate red sneaker and blue sneaker, could surely help in concocting a crazy patriotic outfit. Finally, the JS Wings “Denim” brings a feel of luxury not seen in the other two sneakers, with its light denim upper and clear gum bottom. All of these shoes and a couple others are now available at select adidas Originals retailers, like Leaders.

EDIT: While the sneakers have already released at some places, most stores (including official adidas stores) will be releasing the shoes on Saturday, February 4th.

Nike LeBron 9 Low Summer 2012 Preview

Nike LeBron 9 Low Summer 2012 Preview

Nike LeBron 9 Low Summer 2012 Preview

When it comes to the court, the combination of 180 Max Air and Zoom Air in the LeBron 9 is probably the best cushioning option. But once the season ends and the summer comes, all an NBA athlete like LeBron James has to do is relax. It looks like Nike will be suiting up his feet right, with the LeBron 9 Low. Of course, the most noticeable technology difference between the mid-top and low-top versions of the LeBron 9 is the change in cushioning from the Max/Zoom setup to a full-length Max Air unit. In addition, the Low will release in its own unique colorways, utilizing eclectic shades like Mint Candy, Cyber, Turquoise, Challenge Red, and Court Purple. If you want to kick back in comfort and style like LeBron during the Summer 2012 season, then you’ll definitely want to know release information on these LeBron 9 Lows. Keep up with Sole Camp for that information when it comes out. (Picture and information via Sneaker News and The Shoe Game)

We’re still quite far away from the release of the Summer 2012 Air Jordan Retros, but that has not stopped catalog pictures of the shoes from leaking online! Above, you can find new pictures of the Retro releases of the original “Miltary Blue” Air Jordan IV colorway, “Playoff” Air Jordan XII colorway, and “Obsidian” Air Jordan XII colorway. Below those three are two old silhouettes in new colorways. First, there’s the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan XII Retro, laden with Cool Grey nubuck and orange accents. In addition, a new Air Jordan XI Retro Low (NOTE: Not I.E.) will be released for Summer 2012 in a White/Black-Varsity Red colorway. Look for more news on all of these releases in the near future! Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Jeremy Scott has always pushed the envelope with his eye-popping sneaker designs; his winged classics and more recent bear-head stompers have proven that the unthinkable can actually work. So it’s no surprise that Scott has some great shoes in store for us in his recently-revealed Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. However, the mind-blowingness of each sneaker is what shocks me! For the Wings fans, the collection features an American Flag-like JS Wings 2.0 that would have been perfect for this past weekend, and a JS Wings that eerily resembles the “Denim” Air Force 1 that released back in May. A cool new high-top shoe that will debut in the collection features “das” on the enlarged tongue of the left sneaker, and (I’m assuming) “adi” on the right. Finally, Scott could not leave his popular animal motif alone, as his Spirng/Summer 2012 collection includes a Leopard-printed sneaker with a Leopard’s tail on the back, and an almost all-black Gorilla sneaker that is modeled similarly to the JS Bear and will (possibly) come with a t-shrt to put on the sneaker. Check the collection below, and stay tuned to Sole Camp for more updates on the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals collection (Pictures via EU Kicks).

Air Jordan XII Set to Return in Summer 2012

Air Jordan XII "Playoff," "Taxi" & "Obsidian"

Air Jordan XII "Playoff", "Taxi", and "Obsidian"

In 2009, Jordan Brand gave the masses a helping of Air Jordan XII Retros by rereleasing the “Flu Game”, “Cherry”, and “Nubuck” colorways, as well as by debuting a “Rising Sun” colorway. Two and a half years after the end of the last XII Retro wave (Summer 2012, that is), Jordan Brand will release another wave of Air Jordan XII Retros. However, this wave has some even more anticipated Air Jordan XII Retros than the last. For one, Jordan Brand will continue with its recent grey infatuation by releasing a new Cool Grey/White-Team Orange colorway of the Air Jordan XII. However, the rest of the colorways are classics. First, the “Taxi” Air Jordan XII colorway, which last saw a Retro release in the 2008 Air Jordan XI/XII Countdown Pack, will return. Going even further back, Jordan Brand will please the Jordan heads with an Air Jordan XII Retro whose colorway last released in 2004: the “Playoff” XII Retro. Finally, and most notably, Jordan Brand will bring back an Air Jordan XII colorway that has not seen the light of day on store shelves since its original release. The “Obsidian” Air Jordan XII colorway will see its first Retro release ever in the Summer of 2012. If you’re a fan of the Air Jordan XII, then it seems like 2012 will be quite the year for you! Unfortunately, all you can do now is wait for more information on these releases. (Picture via Sneaker News)
